Congratulations Dr. Melvin!
Dr. C. Keith Melvin’s medical career spans emergency medicine, critical care medicine, and general internal medicine. He currently practices at Mercy Health, serves as faculty for the Jewish Hospital Internal Medicine Graduate Medical Education Residency Program and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UC College of Medicine. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Melvin is President and CEO of Community Health Speaks, Inc. and President of the Black and White Cancer Survivors Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to cancer awareness, early detection, and survivor celebration. The Black & White Cancer Survivors Foundation received the highest award at the Cancer Family Care's 22nd Joslin Haggart Yeiser Unsung Hero Awards Dinner on April 30, 2024 held at the Cintas Center. Dr. Keith Melvin and
Mr. Bill Mabrey was presented the Pauline Cohen Founder's Award.
Dr. Melvin was recognized by the Hamilton County Commissioner's Office as one of the trailblazer's in our Community
Dr. Melvin was nominated as the Pillar of the Community by Walker Funeral Home. Congratulations Dr. Melvin!
Dr. Melvin said, "This is my community, my city. I wanna be a person on the front line. I wanna show that Bond Hill is on the front line of the Covid-19 pandemic."

Dr. Melvin received the Pillar of the Community award at the 2019 Onyx & Ruby Gala, sponsored by UC Health. The event was hosted by the UC African American Alumni Affiliate (4A). The award recognize alumni who support their communities by sharing their time talents and treasure. Congratulations Dr. Melvin!
